The Reason for God: a new series begins June 2014 featuring the teaching ministry of Tim Keller. This combined adult summer class will meet in the Fellowship Hall and begin with a video teaching and follow with a guided discussion.
Isn’t the Bible a myth?
Hasn’t science disproved Christianity?
How can you say there is only one way to God?
What about other religions?
What gives you the right to tell me how to live my life?
Why are there so many rules?
Why does God allow suffering?
Why is there so much evil in the world?
Why is the church responsible for so much injustice?
Why are Christians such hypocrites?
How can God be full of love and wrath at the same time?
How can God send good people to hell?
Northview’s adult Sunday school program is run on an elective model. Each quarter, several classes are offered either in the study of a book of the Bible or on a topic of relevance to living the Christian life. Examples of the topical studies include Financial Stewardship, Parenting, Basic Christian Living, Prayer, and Christian Marriage. Occasionally we will offer electives aimed at specific areas of need related to women, men, parents, leaders or singles for example. Some electives use videos while others work through books or workbooks, all of which presents a relevant theme from a Christian perspective. All electives are based in the Bible and seek to apply scriptural truth to our lives. Sunday school begins at 9:30 am and runs for one hour.
