At Northview Alliance there are a few words to describe us and what we do. These words include the “G.R.A.C.E.” – an acronym for “Gifts Received At Christ’s Expense.” Jesus gave us His love and life on the cross. We stand forgiven of sin at the cross of Christ. The word “Truth” also describes us. God’s word is Truth and we love to discover what He has to say to us through the teachings of the Bible. We hold to the traditional and orthodox teachings of the Bible as we apply it to our busy, contemporary and complex lives. The word “Mission” means we support and participate in the world wide work of God to reach people everywhere with the Good News of Jesus’ love and forgiveness. These simple words describe us.
And the amazing beauty of Northview is that these simple words all take place in another word, “Family.” People of all ages form the church family we call Northview. At Northview Alliance Church you will see a dad, assisted by his teenage son, running the computer program for Sunday morning service. On a typical Wednesday night there will be a grandfather reviewing Bible verses with his grandson and other children during section time for AWANA. At a Monday night committee meeting, young moms, along side older adults and working professionals form the members of our Administration Board. It’s all family here at Northview!
Northview Alliance Church is a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance movement. There are more than 2,000 C&MA churches in the United States, and approximately 20,000 fellowships in 81 countries around the world with nearly 5 million Christians calling themselves “Alliance.”
We would enjoy the opportunity to meet you in person. Join us on a Sunday morning as we sing joyful praise to Jesus and worship God. Come learn with us as we delve into God’s Word. You will form new friendships that will last beyond a lifetime.
If you have specific questions, we would love to answer them in person. Please feel free to call us at the church office (330) 345-1762. - Pastor Geno Colarusso
