Children’s Sunday School –9:30 to 10:30 am
Children receive age appropriate lessons about God from the Bible.
Our aim is to reinforce the training they receive from their parents.
Children participate in the worship service for part of our time together, and then are released to Children’s Church.
Little Lambs: 2 and 3 year olds (These children may also be brought to their room prior to the service.)
The acronym stands for “Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed” and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. The program is designed to engage children with the Bible, helping them to memorize verses and learn to apply the Biblical principles to their lives. Each Wednesday night, September through April, AWANA meets and offers an exciting theme each week such as Apple Night, Costume Night, Hayride and Bonfire Night or Backwards Night. The night includes a story time, game time, and handbook time, where verses are recited to adult workers.
Northview Alliance Church participates in the Nationally recognized Safe Place policies and procedures format. All workers are approved through a process of application and screening and all programs follow the guidelines to ensure safety and accountability.
